His career spans energy efficiency, transportation electrification, market transformation, policy and regulatory affairs, and business development, including leadership roles with Cadmus, D+R International, CLEAResult, and his own energy consulting practice. He has also served in industry leadership and board roles, including the Association of Energy Services Professionals and Resource Innovation Institute.

John Ashe is an energy industry leader and operator with decades of experience building and growing energy efficiency, renewable energy, and distributed energy businesses and programs across North America. His career has taken him across markets from Washington, D.C. to California and Texas, working at the intersection of utilities, emerging energy solutions, program implementation, and business growth. He holds an MBA from Penn State University.
